What you'll be doing

As a Senior Reverse Engineer at Coody, you'll take on deep technical assignments that require dissecting, understanding, and working within complex software systems — web, mobile, and beyond. Each assignment is typically 6–24 months, and as a consultant you're expected to ramp up quickly and deliver value from day one.

You'll be working in and around security-sensitive environments — analyzing applications, maintaining RE toolchains, and uncovering how systems behave under the hood. You'll own your work end-to-end: from setting up and maintaining reverse engineering environments to writing tooling that helps the teams you work with move faster and smarter.

Who you are

We are seeking a Senior Reverse Engineer with at least 5+ years of experience and a proven ability to get things done. Here's what we're seeking:

• Hands-on experience with reverse engineering of web and/or mobile applications using interactive disassemblers such as HexRays IDA, Ghidra, or Hopper.

• Practical experience with dynamic instrumentation and injection tools, particularly Frida, for hooking, bypassing security controls, and runtime analysis.

• Strong skills in traffic interception and analysis using tools like Charles Proxy and Wireshark.

• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting iOS or web-based RE environments, including in jailbroken contexts (e.g., using palera1n or similar jailbreak toolchains).

• Ability to build, maintain, and improve internal RE toolkits — you leave things better than you found them.

• Comfortable operating in ambiguous, low-documentation environments where your curiosity drives progress.

• Based in Sweden: You must have Swedish citizenship, a valid work visa, temporary or permanent residency.

• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
